Mission & Vision.
Our vision.
Our vision is to alleviate poverty by building a culture where the dignity of each person is re-discovered through education, work and a spirit of service.
“Our key vision is to reduce poverty, to educate and create new pathways, and to foster strong families in support of thriving communities.”
Our mission.
Reledev empowers individuals through education, fostering dignity, the value of work, and service to others, enabling them to build stable livelihoods and uplift their communities.
We also inspire Australian volunteers, especially the youth, to promote development with the same focus on dignity, work, and service.
Our core values.
Reledev’s values enshrine the dignity of the person, the importance of work as an agent of change and a spirit of service to others promoted by work.
Project Partner values.
We look for reputable organisations which align with Reledev’s mission and values.
We built local capacity of these organisations to: further their work, assist them in adopting best practise systems, adopt safe and effective ways of achieving their goals.
We work to improve their ability to attract local financial and community support, thereby providing sustainable endeavours which effect generational change.
Our strategies.
We have three core strategies which we strive to adhere to:
Reledev’s values flow from a fundamental belief in the dignity of each person and entitles them to be worthy of respect and provided with conditions to reach their full potential.
A right to meaningful work underpins our endeavours, for which education is the key to lasting generational change.
We align with the United Nations
Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
“The Sustainable Development Goals are a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet and improve the lives and prospects of everyone, everywhere. The 17 Goals were adopted by all UN Member States in 2015, as part of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development which set out a 15-year plan to achieve the Goals.”
