Child Abuse refers to all forms of physical or mental violence, injury or abuse, maltreatment or exploitation including sexual abuse.

Impact on project partners

Overseas partners implementing AusAID funded projects will provide assurance that police checks have been done or, where this is not possible, at least a written statutory declaration is on file to the effect vouchsafing the character of staff members involved in a funded project, where this project involves contact with persons considered to be children.

Partners implementing AusAID funded projects will have their own Child Protection policy or adhere to Reledev’s policy.
